Below are answers to some frequently asked questions regarding our policies and procedures. We reserve the right to modify them at any time without prior notice.


Our website is designed to capture the information necessary to create your order using the most accurate specifications possible. We understand that made to order options can be confusing, so if you get hung up, give our customer service department a call to help complete your order.

Credit card information entered into our website during checkout is not saved and is transferred to a merchant processing system through a secure server. We also offer checkout via PayPal who have a worldwide reputation of protecting its customers' information. Payments made by credit card will be charged and processed at time of your order, shipping will be calculated into your order.


Once your order has been placed and payment has been received, a confirmation email will be sent. You may modify your order at any time during the confirmation process, up until the order is sent to production. Once an order is in production, it may not be modified or canceled. 


Our belt sizes are based on your pants size, not bare waist measurement. If you are unsure or wear more than one size pants depending on the manufacturer, please measure yourself in the pants you intend to wear with the belt by sliding a measuring tape into the belt loops. If you ride the line between two belt sizes, we recommend the larger size. The Tactical Cobra Belt and Low Pro Belt are designed to be worn with our Low Profile System and we have already made accommodations for the additional length needed to feed the belt through the gear. The Everyday Tactical and Cobra Tactical Riggers belts are meant for use with your EDC equipment and are not recommended for use with the Low Profile System.


Because of the custom nature of the items we make, we cannot offer refunds for made-to-order products, as each order is built for the individual consumer. All sales of made-to-order products are final, however, we stand behind our product and will make adjustments or provide a replacement to ensure satisfaction. We allow size exchanges for belts within 30 days of your receipt of the product. We offer a two-year unconditional warranty for all HTCTM products. Simply contact us with a detailed description of the malfunction and including photos, and we will arrange return of the damaged product for replacement.


Stock items ship in 1-2 business days. If your order contains items labeled "made-to-order" please allow at least 10 business days (Monday-Friday) from the date of your order. Some light-bearing holsters may take 15-20 business days if new tooling is required to accommodate the order. All items will ship together. Your order will be moved into production within one business day from time of order, and you will be notified by Email with our estimated lead-time. Most orders ship within two weeks, but please understand that lead times may vary depending on the volume currently in production, or accommodation of aftermarket features. If lead-times will vary significantly past our estimates, we will notify you via Email.


Due to the nature of our products and their intended use, there is an assumed and understood level of risk associated with the environment in which this gear is designed to operate. Therefore, HTCTM cannot be held liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of its products. By purchasing our products and using our site, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless High Threat ConcealmentTM, its parent company, officers, employees, agents, licensors and suppliers from and against all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable legal fees, resulting from any violation of these terms and conditions or any activity related to your account (including negligent or wrongful conduct) by you or any other person accessing the site using your Internet account.


HTCTM ships all domestic orders via FedEx Ground, 2-Day, or Standard Overnight and require a physical address for delivery. Only orders shipping to APO/DPO addresses are sent by United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail. Shipments to international destinations will be offered FedEx Economy or Priority service. Any duties for international shipping will be the responsibility of the recipient.

HTCTM cannot be responsible for an order once a package has shipped from our facility. FedEx insures all shipments for up to $100. If additional insurance is desired, please send us an Email after placing your order. Customers will be responsible for any additional insurance fees.  Please keep this in mind when shipping to APO/DPO addresses, as insurance from the US Postal Service does not cover packages once they have been turned over to the military or host country mail system. Due to limitations with the US Postal Service, we are not able to track shipments going to APO/ DPO addresses once they leave the United States.. 

If a package should be returned to us, we will contact the customer to confirm shipping information and resend the package. In this event, the customer will be responsible for the additional shipping charges unless the return is due to an error on behalf of HTCTM


HTCTM is located in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Sales tax must be charged on all transactions shipping to a Virginia destination, unless the customer is tax exempt. The sales tax rate is based on our company location in Newport News, Virginia which is currently 6%. Orders shipping outside of Virginia will not be charged sales tax. Tax exempt customers may contact us to have sales tax removed from their order once it has been placed.


The driving force behind our gear is its modularity. Using a standard Phillips head screwdriver, the Low Profile SystemTM can be setup in a variety of configurations by removing, adding, or repositioning components. We use Mil-spec Stainless Steel screws and binding posts to join the individual components together.  Our custom shop generally prefers to keep the male screw on the side facing away from the body, and the female binding post on the side with the belt loop closest to the body.  Rubber washers sit between the component and the belt loop on individual components, or between two adjoined items when connecting two HTCTM components together. The optional IWB Loops have their own attachment hardware that is used for attaching them to the components, on the outbound side of the holster or equipment holder. Screws will naturally loosen with regular wear, so as of January 2015, HTCTM began using screws with a nylon patch to make them more secure. If your purchase was made prior to January 2015, HTCTM recommends a thread-locking agent for a more secure hold. Place a drop or two in the binding post after assembly.

Any holster or carrier, regardless of the material, will eventually cause wear on the finish of a gun, magazine, knife, or other equipment. As with anything that is used on a daily basis, there is an expected amount of wear and tear requisite with hard use. 

With this in mind, thermoplastic holsters and carriers generally result in less overall wear and tear versus their leather or nylon counterparts - as wear is typically isolated to key retention areas such as the front of the trigger guard and the slide just forward of the ejection port on most pistols. Leather and nylon will retain dirt, moisture, and other particles that cause the material to become abrasive and are often times difficult to wash out without damaging the fit of the holster or carrier. Kydex, Boltaron, and other thermoplastic products need only be washed and left to dry thoroughly prior to use.


Our pistol holsters are all made for a specific model pistol, however, there are some instances where more than one pistol will fit in your holster. The best example of this is the Glock family of pistols. A full size Glock 17 holster will also fit the compact (Glock 19) and sub-compact (Glock 26) versions. For further clarification, please contact us.


It is your responsibility to inform us in the event that your pistol has additional features, modifications, or will be worn with OEM attachments, as this can drastically affect the fit of the holster.  


We make every effort to get your order to you as quickly as possible, but we cannot honor any requests for expedited production. Expedited shipping is available at checkout, but will not affect lead-time for production.
